Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as on 01/01/2015)
Educational Qualification: 12th (10+2) or equivalent from recognized board
Physical Requirements
Physical Standards:
- Height: 170 cm (Male), 157.5 cm (Female)
- Chest (Male only): 84-88 cm
Driving License
A valid Driving license (Motor Car & Motor Cycle) is mandatory for all candidates, including Ex-servicemen. However, as a one-time exception for this recruitment, female candidates are exempted from this requirement.
Pay Scale
Salary: Rs. 10300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 3200 plus allowances
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PE & MT)
- Written Test
The PE & MT test is scheduled to begin in February 2016 at Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh and IRB Complex, Sarangpur. Candidates should regularly check the Chandigarh Police website for the detailed schedule.
