Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Chemist Trainee: M.Sc. (Chemistry) preferably in Analytical Chemistry in First Class with 60% marks (Full Time course) from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
- Operator Trainee: First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
- General Workman-B (Trainee)
- Chemical: First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
- Mechanical: First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
- Electrical: First Class Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
- Instrumentation: First Class Diploma in Instrument Technology OR Instrumentation & Control OR Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
Age limit
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.10.2018
Selection Process
- STAGE 1 – Written Test: Shortlisted candidates based on merit order percentage marks will be called for Written Test at Kochi. Test will assess technical acumen and generic aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning abilities, General Awareness and Basic English language skills.
- STAGE 2 – Skill Test: Candidates qualifying in written test will be called for Skill Test at Kochi. Skill Test shall be of ‘qualifying nature’ only.
- STAGE 3 – Pre-Employment Medical Test: Final appointment subject to meeting Medical Fitness norms & standards as per BPCL Pre-Employment Medical Examination/ Medical standards as per Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD).
