Bank of India Recruitment 2016: 77 Specialist Officer Positions Available
Bank of India (BOI) has announced a major recruitment drive for 77 Specialist Officer positions across various specialized fields. This is a great opportunity for qualified candidates to join one of India’s leading public sector banks.
Available Positions and Qualifications
The recruitment covers six different specialized categories:
- Chartered Accountant: 20 posts
- Candidates must have completed/passed the final examination of Chartered Accountants
- Risk Analysts: 4 posts
- Requirements: Graduate degree (3-year full-time program) and Post Graduate Degree in Management/Business Administration with specialization in Risk Management (2-year full-time program), OR pass in Chartered Accountant Examination or ICWA
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a reputed financial institution/Bank/Mutual Funds/NBFCs
- Law Officer: 5 posts
- Requirements: Graduate degree in Law with minimum 60% marks, enrolled as an Advocate in any State Bar Council
- Preference: Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Law
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of active practice as an Advocate in Civil and Criminal Courts
- Alternative: Current Law Officers in Nationalised Banks/Large Commercial Banks/Public Sector Financial Institutions with 5 years of practice can apply
- Information Technology: 42 posts
- Requirements: Graduate Degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics and Telecommunication or M.C.A. with minimum 60% marks as full-time regular student from an Institute recognized by AICTE or an institute of national/international repute
- Alternative: Any Graduate with ‘A’ level qualification of DOEACC Society or equivalent examination from Govt. recognized university/institute
- Experience: 2 years as Software Engineer/Data Base Manager preferably in IT Organisations/Banks/Financial Institutions OR 3 years experience as an IT/Computer Officer with any scheduled commercial bank
- Technical Officer (Premises): 2 posts
- Requirements: Graduate Degree in Civil as regular full-time student
- Experience: Minimum 3 Years as Technical Officer in Banks/Financial Institutions/Govt. Organisation/Public Sector Undertaking/Listed Organisation in Private Sector
- Experience details: Supervision of planning, construction and supervision of large commercial/residential buildings/housing projects including interiors/services/maintenance of building
- Skills: Handling matters relating to interface with consultants, review of estimates, justification of rates, preparation and evaluation of tender documents, supervision, progress monitoring, scrutiny of bills
- Technical Officer (Appraisal): 4 posts
- Requirements: Engineering degree in disciplines such as Textiles, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Computer Science, Metallurgy, B. Pharm. MBA in Finance from any UGC recognized university is desirable
- Experience: Minimum 3 Years including experience in industry and/or in Bank/Financial Institution
Selection Process
The selection process will include Online Examination and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview.
