Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB, A.P.) has published 4548 Constable posts. The notification includes eligibility criteria such as education qualification, age limit, pay scale, application fee, and district-wise post vacancies.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have completed Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution. Refer to the official notification for other eligible details.

Age Limit

  • For the post code Nos. 21 and 22: Candidate age should be between 18 to 22 years (as on 1st July, 2016)
  • For the post code no. 53 & 54: Candidate age should be 18 to 30 years

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- for OCs/BCs category candidates & Rs. 150/- for SC/ST category candidates through online via Mee Seva/e-Seva/TS ONLINE/AP ONLINE centres or through Payment Gateway using Credit card/Debit card/Internet Banking.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on performance in Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test(PMT), Physical Efficiency Test(PET), and Final Written Exam.

Physical Standards

For Male candidates:

  • Height: Minimum Height 167.7cms
  • Chest: 86.3cms with maximum expansion of 5cms
  • Physical Ability Test: 5kms (in 25 minutes)
  • Long Jump: 11 feet (in three chances)
  • High Jump: 3.5 Feet (in three chances)

For Female candidates:

  • Physical Ability Test: 2.5kms (in 16 minutes)
  • Long Jump: 9 feet (in three chances)
  • High Jump: 3 Feet (in three chances)
