Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M. Lib./ Master in Library and Information Science
- Certificate with respect to Basic Knowledge of Computer as prescribed by the State Government from time to time
- Minimum 01 year experience in the Central Government or State Government or Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or Reputed Organization/Company
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 to 35 years of age as on the last date for submitting Online Application

Selection Process
- Main written examination (objective type MCQs) scheduled for June 29, 2025
- Viva-voce test (oral interview) tentatively in July or August 2025
- Select List prepared based on Aggregate Marks (60% Weightage) in Main Written Examination and Viva-voce Test
- Select List valid for 01 Year from publication date
Scheme of Examination
Main Written Examination (Objective Type-MCQs)
- 100 Marks, 02 Hours duration
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each of 01 Mark with Negative Marking of 0.33 Mark for each Wrong/Multiple Answer
- Syllabus: Library Science, English Language, General Knowledge, Legal Knowledge, Basic Knowledge of Computer Application
- Language: English only
- Minimum 50% Marks required to be eligible for Viva-voce Test
Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview)
- 40 Marks
- Minimum 40% Marks required for inclusion in Select List
