Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

You must be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Additionally, Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with permanent settlement intentions are eligible. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries (Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi) with permanent settlement intentions in India can also apply.

Educational Qualification

You need a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year/semester students can apply provisionally, but must provide proof of graduation by September 30, 2026, if called for interview. Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) candidates should ensure their passing date is on or before September 30, 2026. Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant qualifications are also acceptable.

Age Limit

You must be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2026. This means you should have been born between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2005. Reserved category candidates get age relaxation as per government norms.

Application Fees

The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid via debit card, credit card, Internet Banking, or UPI. Transaction charges, if any, will be borne by you.

  • General/EWS/OBC: Rs.750
  • SC/ST/PWD: Nil

Selection Process

The selection involves three phases:

  1. Preliminary Exam: An objective test covering English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. This is qualifying in nature, and scores aren’t counted for final merit.
  2. Mains Exam: Includes objective and descriptive papers (Total Marks: 250). Marks from this exam are considered for final selection.
  3. Psychometric Test, GD & Interview: A psychometric test assesses personality traits, followed by Group Discussion and Interview to evaluate communication and leadership skills.
