AWES Eligibility

Educational Qualification & Age Limit:

  • PGT: B Ed
  • TGT: B Ed
  • PRT: B Ed / 2 years Diploma
  • Experience: Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years
  • Age limit:
    • Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be < 29 yrs and PGT < 36 years)
    • Experienced Candidates – Below 57 years
  • Application fees: Rs 500/- (non refundable).

    • AWES Selection Process

    Final selection will be based on Written exam & Interview.

    Exam pattern & Syllabus

    PGT/TGT:

    • Part A: General awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology
      • Time: 3 Hours
      • Marks: 90
      • Types of Que.: Objective
    • Part B: Specific to subject
      • Time: 3 Hours
      • Marks: 90
      • Types of Que.: Objective
  • PRT:
    • Part A: Same as Part A for PGT/TGT
      • Time: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
      • Marks: 90
      • Type of Que: Objective
