Southern Railway Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10th/12th Class under the 12th System or equivalent and completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a government-recognized ITI.
Age Limit
Age limits vary by trade as of October 1, 2016:
- Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Upholster: 15 to 20 years
- Fitter, Electrician, R&AC, Wireman: 15 to 22 years
- MLT, Winder, Cable Jointer, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic, MMV: 15 to 24 years
Application Fee
Rs.100/- for unreserved candidates. No fee for SC/ST/PWD and Women reserved category candidates. The fee must be paid through demand draft drawn in favor of “The Work Shop Personnel Officer, Carriage and Wagon Works, Southern Railway, Perambur, Chennai” payable at Chennai.

Interested candidates should apply in the prescribed format along with:
- Recent passport size photograph
- Attested photocopies of Age, Caste, Educational/Technical certificates
- Fee (IPO)
