Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet these requirements to apply:
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with Degree or diploma in Education. Minimum five years’ teaching experience in any school. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
- Age Limit: 24 years to 40 years
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on an Interview.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The examination carries 600 marks divided into two papers, each worth 300 marks. Both papers have a duration of three hours each. All questions are Multiple Choice Type with negative marking applicable.
Paper – 1: General Studies
- Rajasthan, Indian and World history with special emphasis on Rajasthan culture and Indian National Movement (40 Questions, 80 Marks)
- Indian Polity, Indian Economics with special emphasis on Rajasthan (40 Questions, 80 Marks)
- Use of Computers and Information Technology in Teaching (15 Questions, 30 Marks)
- Rajasthan, India, World Geography (30 Questions, 60 Marks)
- General Science (20 Questions, 50 Marks)
- Time: 3 Hours
Paper-II: General Awareness about Education and Educational Administration
- Mental Ability Test (24 Questions, 48 Marks)
- Statistics (Secondary Level), Mathematics (Secondary Level) (24 Questions, 48 Marks)
- Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, Educational Management at School level, Educational Scenario in Rajasthan (30 Questions, 60 Marks)
- Right to children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. 2009, Rajasthan Service Rules, CCA Rules, GF&AR (24 Questions, 48 Marks)
- Current Affairs (24 Questions, 48 Marks)
- Language ability test:- Hindi, English (24 Questions, 48 Marks)
