Vadodara Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2020
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has released an official notification for recruitment across multiple healthcare positions. The corporation is hiring for 297 posts including Medical Officer, Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Female Health Worker (FHW), and Multi Purpose Health Worker (MPHW).
Available Positions
- Medical Officer: 28 Posts
- Lab Technician: 12 Posts
- Pharmacists: 20 Posts
- Female Health Worker (FHW): 77 Posts
- Multi Purpose Health Worker (MPHW): 160 Posts
Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Age Limits
Female Health Worker (FHW): Must have passed Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) or equivalent examination, completed Female Health Worker Basic Training Course recognized by Government, and possess knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi. Age limit: 18 to 30 years.
- Lab Technician: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biochemistry from a recognized university, or Diploma in Lab Technician/M.L.T Course. Must have basic computer knowledge and know Gujarati and/or Hindi. Age limit: not more than 36 years.
- Medical Officer: Must have an M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized university or qualification specified in the Indian Medical Council Act. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi required. Age limit: not more than 35 years.
- Multi Purpose Health Worker: Requires H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent, basic computer knowledge with CCC/DOEACC certificate, completed one-year M.P.H.W. basic course or S.I. certificate, and knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi. Age limit: 18 to 31 years.
- Pharmacist: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university, Diploma in Pharmacy with 2 years experience as Junior Pharmacist in Government/undertaking/Board or as Dispenser in Hospital/Dispensary or as Pharmacist/Medical Representative. Basic computer knowledge and knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi required. Age limit: not more than 35 years.

- Rs. 200/- for General Category
- Rs. 100/- for OBC/SC/ST/EWC
