Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Here’s what you need to qualify:
- Archivist (General): Master’s Degree in History with Modern Indian History paper from a recognized university
- Specialist Grade III (Pediatrics): MBBS degree from Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (licentiate qualifications not included)
- Scientist ‘B’ (Neutron Activation Analysis): Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics in all three years of BSc

Age Limit
Age requirements vary by position:
- Archivist (General): 30 years
- Specialist Grade III (Paediatrics): 40 years
- Scientist ‘B’ (Neutron Activation Analysis): 35 years
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 25/- only. You can pay through SBI branches (cash or net banking) or using Visa/Master credit/debit cards. Good news – no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates!
Selection Process
The interview process has category-wise minimum requirements:
- UR/EWS: 50 marks out of 100
- OBC: 45 marks out of 100
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks out of 100
Shortlisted candidates will receive interview dates separately. Remember to bring your online application printout and all required documents.
