The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notification for recruiting 28 positions across various roles. These include Assistant Commissioner, Aeronautical Officer, Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical), Junior Scientific Officer, and Assistant Chemist positions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Commissioner: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics or related fields with 3 years experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with 4 years experience. Age limit: 40 years.
- Aeronautical Officer: Degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering with 2 years experience in aircraft design and development. Age limit: 35 years.
- Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical): Master’s degree in Physics OR Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering. Experience: 1 year for Master’s holders, 2 years for Bachelor’s holders. Age limit: 35 years.
- Junior Scientific Officer: Degree in Chemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry at Bachelor’s level. Experience: 2 years in Analytical methods and research in Explosives. Age limit: 30 years.
- Assistant Chemist: Master’s Degree in Chemistry OR Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering/Technology OR Diploma from Associate Institute of Chemist (India). Age limit: 30 years.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) through SBI cash, net banking, or credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates. OBC male candidates must pay the full fee.
Selection Process
- Interview marks: UR-50, OBC-45, SC/ST/PH-40 (out of 100)
- For Recruitment Test + Interview: Minimum suitability required at both stages
