Eligibility Criteria

Detailed Syllabus for Written Examination
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence
This objective-type paper with multiple-choice questions covers:
- General Mental Ability: Logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, numerical ability, and data interpretation
- General Science: General awareness, scientific temper, comprehension of scientific phenomena including Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science
- Current Events: National and international events in culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal issues, industry, business, and globalization
- Indian Polity and Economy: Political system, Constitution of India, social systems, public administration, economic development, security issues, and human rights
- History of India: Social, economic, and political aspects including nationalism and freedom movement
- Indian and World Geography: Physical, social, and economic geography of India and the world
Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
Part-A: Essay questions (80 Marks) to be answered in Hindi or English on topics like modern Indian history, geography, polity, economy, security issues, and analytical ability.
Part-B: Comprehension, precis writing, and language skills (120 Marks) in English only, covering comprehension passages, precis writing, developing counter arguments, grammar, and other language aspects.
