Educational Qualifications
For E & M (Post Code: 1 to 3):
- Thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script. Candidates who haven’t passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi must clear an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP within 3 years of joining.
- A degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Industrial/Industrial Production Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other institution recognized by State Government or equivalent degree.
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Industrial/Industrial Production Engineering conducted by any University in India incorporated by any act of Central/State legislature or by UGC.
- Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) – Selection ‘A’ and ‘B’.
For Civil (Post Code: 4):

- Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) – Selection ‘A’ and ‘B’.
Important Notes
- Degrees/Diplomas from distance learning education are not eligible.
- Degrees/Diplomas must be completed at the time of application submission.
Age Limit
21 to 40 years (as on 01/07/2016)
Application Fee
- Rs. 1000/- for General & OBC candidates
- Rs. 700/- for SC/ST candidates
- Rs. 1000/- for candidates from other states (Other than UP)
Application processing fee can be paid through ATM cum Debit Card/Credit Card/SBI Net banking or Bank Challan form (Payable at State Bank of India Branches). Bank charges in addition to the Application fee shall be borne/paid by the candidate. Application fee, once paid, will neither be refunded/transferred nor can be held in reserve for any other future selection process.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on candidates’ performance in the written Test (Computer Based Test) and Interview.
