The Sikkim Police has officially announced a major recruitment drive for 342 positions. This recruitment covers both GD Constables and Technical Constables to strengthen the force across the state.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific educational and age requirements to be considered for these positions.
- Education:
- GD Constable: Minimum 10th pass from a recognized Board (for both open and HG candidates)
- Technical Constable: Minimum 12th pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
- Age Limit: 18 to 22 years as on 01/02/2018
Physical Requirements
All candidates must meet the following physical standards:
- Height:
- Male: Minimum 5’3″
- Female: Minimum 5’0″
- Chest:
- Male: Minimum 32″ with minimum 2″ expansion
- Weight:
- Male: Minimum 50 Kgs
- Female: Minimum 45 Kgs
Selection Process
The final selection will be based on multiple stages:
- Physical Measurement
- Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET)
- Written Examination
- Viva-voce

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 70/- under revenue head 0055-Police-800. Candidates can obtain the receipt from the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police/Special Branch, Tadong, Gangtok and the office of District SSP(North/South/West) on working days until 20th March 2014 upon production of Bank (SBS) Receipt.
