Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank (SHGB) has released a notification for recruitment across multiple positions. The bank is looking for talented candidates to fill 263 vacancies in various roles.
Available Positions
- Officer Junior Management Scale-I: 100 Posts
- Officer (General Banking Officer) Scale -II: 56 Posts
- Officer Junior Management Scale -III: 07 Posts
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 100 Posts
Educational Requirements
The bank requires candidates to have a degree from a recognized university. However, specific preferences apply to different posts:
- Officer Scale-III: Degree with minimum 50% marks. Preference given to candidates with degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-Operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics & Accountancy.
- Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer: Degree with minimum 50% marks. Same preference fields as Scale-III.
- Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers:
- Law Officer: Law degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Dairy/Animal Husbandry/Forestry/Veterinary Science/Agricultural Engineering/Pisciculture with minimum 50% marks.
- Officer Scale-I: Degree with preference for candidates having background in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Pre-requisite Qualification
Candidates must have qualified in the RRBs-Online CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September 2014 with the required scores. The specific score requirements are detailed in the marks chart available in the official advertisement.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on two stages:
- Performance in RRBs-CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September 2014
- Personal Interview
Final merit lists will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category based on Total Weighted Scores (TWS) from both stages. Candidates must secure minimum 40% of total interview marks to qualify.
