Eligibility Criteria
Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be Indian citizens, Nepali citizens, Bhutan subjects, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 01.01.1962 intending to settle permanently, or persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with permanent settlement intentions. Those from categories (ii)-(v) need an eligibility certificate from the Indian government, which must be submitted during document verification.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the required educational/technical/professional qualifications as specified in Annexure A of the CEN. These qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions as of 30.11.2025 (application deadline). Final year students awaiting results should not apply. Certificates must include the date of issue. If issued after the notification closing date, submit consolidated mark sheets or individual semester results with declaration dates. If dates are unavailable, provide a certificate from the board/university confirming result declaration dates.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 33 years as of 01/01/2026.
Application Fees
The category-wise application fees are as follows:
- Unreserved: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/Minorities/EWS: Rs. 250/-
- Ex-Servicemen/PwBDs/Female/Transgender: Rs. 250/-
Fees must be paid online before the application deadline.
Selection Process
The selection involves four stages:
- Stage 1: First Computer-Based Test (CBT-I)
- Stage 2: Second Computer-Based Test (CBT-2)
- Stage 3: Document Verification
- Stage 4: Medical Examination
Candidates must qualify in each stage to progress.
