Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Alternatively, you can possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission.

Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 to 35 years as of 01/01/2017.

Application Fee

The application fee varies by category:

  • General Category: Rs. 350/-
  • OBC Category: Rs. 250/-
  • SC/ST Category: Rs. 150/-

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination: Objective type paper carrying 200 marks. This serves as a screening test only, and marks won’t count toward the final merit list.
  2. Main Examination: Descriptive/analytical papers including General Hindi and General English at Senior Secondary level. Each paper allows 3 hours.
  3. Personality Test/Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview carrying 100 marks.
