UPSC CDS Examination (I), 2016 – Provisional Result Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the provisional result for the Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination (I), 2016. This examination was conducted in February 2016 at various centers across India.

Qualified Candidates for SSB Interview

A total of 8411 candidates have qualified for the interview stage conducted by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. These candidates can view their results through the provided link.

Document Submission Requirements

Candidates who have qualified must submit original certificates to verify their claims. These include:

  • Age proof (Date of Birth certificate)
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • NCC (C) certificates (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing)

The certificates must be submitted to Army Headquarters, A.G.’s Branch/Rtg./CDSE Entry Section for male candidates and SSC Women Entry Section for female candidates. Original certificates should be submitted within two weeks of completing the SSB Interview and no later than 13th November, 2016 (or 1st February, 2017 for SSC candidates only). Candidates should NOT send original certificates to the Union Public Service Commission.

Important Note

The marks-sheets of candidates who have not qualified will be uploaded on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of OTA (after conducting SSB Interview). These marks-sheets will remain available on the website for a period of 60 days.
