Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General Category (270 Posts):
- Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
- Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD)
- DEPR Category (29 Posts):
- Master’s Degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Finance with minimum 55% marks
- OR PGDM/MBA Finance with minimum 55% marks
- OR Master’s Degree in Economics (any specialization) with minimum 55% marks
- DSIM Category (23 Posts):
- Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with minimum 55% marks
- OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks + one year post graduate diploma in Statistics
- OR M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with minimum 55% marks
- OR Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) from ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with minimum 55% marks
Age Limit
- Must be between 21-30 years as of 1st January 2021
- Born between 2nd January 1991 and 1st January 2000
- M.Phil. candidates: Upper age limit 32 years
- Ph.D. candidates: Upper age limit 34 years
Application Fee
- General/OBC: Rs. 850/-
- SC/ST: Rs. 100/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a two-phase online examination process followed by a personal interview.

Apply online only through the official RBI website www.rbi.org.in. The application window is open from 28th January 2021 to 15th February 2021. No other mode of application will be accepted.
