The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an official notification for recruitment of Junior Engineers in Civil and Mechanical disciplines. A total of 363 positions are available across these two categories.

- Junior Engineer (Civil): 257 posts
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 106 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training or an equivalent qualification recognized by the council
- The diploma must be obtained before the closing date of online application
- Candidates must have Odia as one of the subjects in HSC or passed Odia equivalent to M.E. standard
- Alternatively, candidates must have passed Odia as a language subject in Class-VII final examination or passed a test in M.E. School Standard conducted by Odisha Education Department
Age Limit
- Between 21 to 32 years as on 01/01/2019
Examination Fee
- General category candidates (excluding SC/ST/PWD) must pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs. 200/-
- Fee payment is processed online through SBI State Bank Collect Portal
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on written examination followed by personal interview.
