Eligibility Criteria
For Junior Manager (M-2 Grade):
- Mining Discipline: Degree in Mining Engineering and/or II class/first class Mines Manager’s Certificate with two years post qualification experience in Mechanized Opencast or Underground Metal/Coal Mines
- Survey Discipline: Three years Diploma in Mining or Mines & Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate and minimum 02 years experience in Opencast Metal Mines
- G & QC Discipline: M.Sc/M.Sc(Tech)/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 2 years experience in geological mapping, sampling, exploratory drilling
- C & IT Discipline: MCA or BE/B.Tech (Computer/CS/IT) or Engineering degree with PG Diploma in Computer Application Programming with 2 years experience
- Instrumentation Discipline: Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in process industries
For Dy. Manager (M-4 Grade):
- Geo Physicist Discipline: M.Sc/M.Sc. Tech/M.Tech in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics with first class and minimum 4 years experience in geophysical surveys
For Junior Officer (JO Grade):
- Mechanical Discipline: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience (for Diploma Holders)
- Electrical Discipline: Three years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering OR Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5 years experience (for Diploma Holders)
- Mining Discipline: Degree in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate OR Three year Diploma with 5 years experience and Foreman Certificate
- G & QC Discipline: M.Sc/M.Sc(Tech)/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Exploration Geology with 1 year Post qualification experience
Age Limit
- Dy. Manager (M-4) & Jr. Manager (M-2): 45 years
- Junior Officer (JO): 35 years
Application Fee
- Executive Cadre posts: Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only)
- Junior Officer Cadre posts: Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only)
Mode of Selection
For Executive Cadre posts (M-2) & (M-4) grade:
- Written Test: 70 Marks
- Interview/GD or both: 30 Marks
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
For Junior Officer Cadre posts:
- Written Test: 100 Marks
- Supervisory Skill Test: Qualifying in nature
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
The question paper will be in Hindi & English with objective type multiple choice questions. Candidates will be called for Interview/GD based on Written Test performance following reservation policy. Minimum qualifying marks: SC/ST-30 marks, OBC-35 marks and UR-40 marks.
