Meghalaya Rural Bank has announced a recruitment drive for 65 positions across two categories. The bank is looking for talented candidates to fill both Officer and Office Assistant roles.

Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications for these positions are based on the RRBs CWE-III Advertisement published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar Issue Dated 28th June – 4th July, 2014, released by IBPS.
Selection Process
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Candidates will be selected based on their performance in RRBs-CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September 2014 and a Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on Total Weighted Scores (TWS) obtained in both components, categorized under SC/ST/OBC/UR.
Officer Scale-I: Similar to Office Assistants, selection will be based on performance in RRBs-CWE-III conducted by IBPS in October 2014 and Personal Interview. The merit list will be prepared in descending order based on TWS under each category.
Personal Interview Details
The bank will call candidates for interviews based on their Total Weighted Scores. Typically, the number of candidates called will be three times the number of vacancies. The interview carries a total of 30 marks.
Interview Venue
Interviews will be conducted at the Head Office, Meghalaya Rural Bank, Shillong. The exact venue details will be provided in the call letters and displayed on the bank’s website one week before the interview dates.
