LIC AAO Recruitment 2015: 200 Posts Open for Applications
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is calling for online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 200 Assistant Administrative Officer positions. This recruitment drive covers both Generalist and Chartered Accountant roles. Only online applications will be accepted – no other mode of application is allowed.
Available Positions
The recruitment includes 200 posts distributed as follows:
- Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalists) for Jammu & Kashmir State: 40 Posts
- Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalists) for North Eastern Region: 60 Posts
- Assistant Administrative Officer (Chartered Accountant) for All India: 100 Posts
Educational Requirements
Candidates must meet these qualifications:
- AAO (Generalist): Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution
- AAO (Chartered Accountant): Associate Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
Probation Period
Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of one year, which can be extended up to two years.
Age Criteria
The minimum age requirement is 21 years (completed) as of January 1, 2015. The maximum age limit is 30 years, meaning candidates must have been born between January 2, 1985, and January 1, 1994, inclusive.
Selection Process
The selection procedure consists of three stages:
- Online test performance
- Personal interview for shortlisted candidates
- Pre-recruitment medical examination
Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview as determined by the Corporation.
Application Details
Applications are accepted only online from January 5, 2015, to January 22, 2015. No other application mode will be considered.
