Kendriya Vidyalaya Ahmedabad Cantt Walk in Interview
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ahmedabad Cantt has announced a walk-in interview for various teacher positions on a contract basis. This recruitment drive seeks qualified candidates to join their teaching faculty.
Posts and Qualifications
The following positions are available with their respective educational requirements:
- PGT (English, Hindi, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Political Science): Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks and B.Ed.
- TGT (English, Hindi, Science, Maths, Sanskrit, Social Science): Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject and 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. and pass in Teachers Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE or any State Government.
- Computer Instructor: BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or Equivalent or Degree in Science/Maths with PGDCA
- Spoken English Instructor: B.A/M.A with English OR Degree/Diploma in spoken English
- PRT: Senior Secondary certificate with 50% marks or Higher qualification and diploma or certificate in basic Teachers Training of not less than 2 years or above (pass in CTET conducted by CBSE or State Government)
- Art & Craft / Dance Teacher: Graduate with ART/Dance Diploma
- Games Coaches (Handball, Throwball, Cricket, Football, Basketball): Degree/Diploma (with specialization in the concerned field) from a recognized Institute
- Teachers for German Language: Bachelor’s Degree in German who has learnt German from Indian Universities. Remuneration Rs.26,250 per month consolidated
- Doctor: MBBS and Register with MCI/state Medical Council. Remuneration Rs.1000 per day for 2 hours duty. 45 to 12.45pm on working day of student only
- Nurse (Female): Diploma in Nursing. Remuneration Rs.750 Per day working time 8:00 am to 3:30
- Counselor: M.A/M.Sc (Psychology) from a recognized college or university OR M.A/M.Sc/M.Com with B.Ed/M.Ed qualification + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling. Remuneration Rs.25,000 per month consolidated
- Yoga Teacher: Graduation in any subject or equivalent from recognized university & One year training in Yoga from a recognized institution (refer recruitment rule effective from 01.08.2008)
Age Limit
Candidates should not be more than 65 years of age.
