Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
You must have passed the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects from any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India. This is a mandatory qualification for all categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks (Reference: Directorate Order No 17-31/2016-GDS dated 25/06/2018). Candidates who passed the 10th class examination in the first attempt will be considered meritorious compared to those who passed through compartment exams. Knowledge of the local language is compulsory.
Age Limit
You must be between 18 and 40 years as of 05/08/2019.

- SC/ST/PWD candidates: No fee
