Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- We’re looking for candidates with a PhD or Fellowship in rural development, development studies, or any social science or management discipline with work relating to agriculture and/or civic action. Published work in books, working papers, journals, or commissioned reports is required. Work experience outside university settings, especially with civil society organizations, will be valued. Practitioners with a Master’s degree and substantial field-based work experience in the agricultural sector and/or civic action are also welcome to apply. We seek people with sensitivity to ground-level issues of farmers, ability to work in non-hierarchical teams, high sense of ownership, willingness to travel, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
