The Indian Post Department, Delhi has announced direct recruitment for filling up vacancies in the Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman & MTS cadre under Sports quota in Delhi Postal Circle.

Educational Qualifications
- Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: Pass in 10+2 standard or 12th class pass from recognized University/Board of School Education, Board of Secondary Education (excluding vocational/JOC streams)
- Postman: Matriculation from a recognized Board or University
- MTS: Matriculation or ITI from a recognized Board
Sports Qualification Requirements
Candidates with the following sports qualifications will be considered meritorious for recruitment under sports quota:
- Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in National or International competition in the sports/games mentioned above
- Sportsmen who have represented their university in inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board
- Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation
- Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive
Age Limit
- Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman: 18 to 27 years
- MTS: 18 to 25 years
Application Fee
Rs 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, in favor of “Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle” payable at the Post Office “New Delhi GPO, New Delhi-110001”. Original Indian Postal Order must be enclosed with the duly filled application form.
Applications submitted through any other mode (cheque/Demand Draft/UCR or any other mode) will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be made based on educational and sports qualifications, subject to fulfillment of other prescribed conditions.
