Educational Qualification: Candidates must have BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BE/B.Tech with Mathematics. You should have passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from a Recognized Board/University.
Age Limit
- For Civilian Candidates: 20 to 25 years as on 01/10/2016
- For Serving Combatants on Remusteration: 20 to 28 years as on 01/10/2016
Physical Standards
Minimum physical standards vary by region. Details are available at the nearest HQ Recruiting Zone/Army Recruitment Office/IRO, Delhi Cantt.
Selection Process
The selection process includes four stages:
- Screening: Scheduled from 25-29 July 2016 at BEG and Centre, Roorkee
- Physical Fitness Test: Includes 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 20 seconds, minimum 6 Pull Ups, Zig Zag Balance, and 9 Feet Ditch
- Written Examination: For candidates who clear screening, conducted on 31 July 2016 at BEG and Centre, Roorkee
- Medical Examination: For candidates who qualify in written exam, from 07-08 August 2016 at BEG and Centre, Roorkee
