Available Posts & Qualifications
Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades:
- Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English – minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English
- OR Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% in English
Group ‘Y’ Trades:
- Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in any stream from Central/State Education Boards – minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English
- OR Two-year Vocational Course affiliated/recognized by CBSE/State Education Boards/Councils recognized at par with 10+2 by AIU – minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English
Medical Standards
- Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm
- Weight: Must be proportionate to height and age
- Corneal Surgery: PRK/LASIK not acceptable
- Hearing: Normal hearing required – able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters with each ear separately
- Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, minimum 14 dental points
- Health: Normal anatomy without loss of appendages, free from communicable diseases and skin ailments, physically and mentally fit for duty worldwide
- Body Tattoos: Only permitted on inner face of forearms (inside elbow to wrist), back of hand/reverse palm, or tribal customs. Selection Centre has final authority on acceptability
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), medical examination, and interview.
