Position Details
Inspector of Income-tax (07 posts)
- Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
- Age limit: 18-27 years
- Educational qualification: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent
Tax Assistant (19 posts)
- Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
- Age limit: 18-27 years
- Educational qualification: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent and Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depression per hour
Multi Tasking Staff (21 posts)
- Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
- Age limit: 18-25 years
- Educational qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board
Sports Eligibility
Appointments can be made for sportspersons based on the following criteria:
- Represented the Country in an International Competition with clearance from Department of Youth Affairs and Sports
- Represented a State/UT in a National Competition organized by National Sports Federations recognized by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports or National Games organized by Indian Olympic Association
- Represented their University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by Association of Indian Universities/Inter-University Sports Board
- Represented the State Schools Team in National Sports/Games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation
- Awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive
Merit of sportspersons will be considered in order of preference given above.
Selection Process
The selection process involves multiple stages:
- Applications will be scrutinized and eligible candidates called for Ground/Proficiency Test (Field trial)
- If large numbers of applications are received, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Ground/Proficiency Test based on order of preference laid down by DOP&T O.M. No. 14034/195-Estt. (D) dated 04/05/1995 (approximately ten times total vacancies)
- Based on performance in Proficiency test, candidates will be further shortlisted and required to appear for Written Examination (approximately three times total vacancies)
- For Tax Assistant posts, candidates must also qualify in Computer Skill Test
