Eligibility
- Educational qualification:
- Only candidates in the final year or semester of a UGC specified Master’s degree can appear for GSET.
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (General) without rounding off in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, and Sciences. OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST, PH, and VH category candidates with at least 50% marks without rounding off are eligible.
- Application Fee: Download and fill the Bank Challan Form in triplicate (Bank Copy, GSET Copy & Candidate’s Copy). After 24 hours of challan generation, submit it at any Corporation Bank branch within or outside Gujarat along with examination fee of Rs. 800/- (General & OBC) and Rs. 700/- (ST/SC/PH) plus bank fee of Rs. 25/-. Fee through Money Order, Cheque, Pay Order, or IPO will be rejected. Online registration is mandatory immediately after fee payment.

How to apply
- Visit the GSET website to fill the online application form. Fill all information carefully and follow on-screen instructions. Verify your Name, Subject, Centre, Category, disability status, recent passport size photo (JPEG format, not more than 100kb), and other details. No corrections will be allowed after submission. The Gujarat SET Office is not responsible for any losses. After successful submission, print the online application form and bank challan on A-4 size paper. Keep this printout for future reference. After online registration and downloading the form and challan, deposit the fee at any Bank of Baroda branch on the next working day.

- Last day for Online Application and Bank Challan Generation: 08/06/2017 (till evening 06.00 hrs).
