Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed or be in their final year/semester of a UGC-specified Master’s degree
- General category candidates need at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree from UGC-recognized universities in Humanities, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, or Sciences
- OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST, PH, and VH category candidates need at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for this examination.
Application Fee
Candidates must download and fill the Bank Challan Form in triplicate (Bank Copy, GSET Copy & Candidate’s Copy). After 24 hours of challan generation, submit it at any Corporation Bank branch within or outside Gujarat along with:
- Examination fee: Rs. 800 for General & OBC candidates
- Examination fee: Rs. 700 for ST/SC/PH/VH candidates
- Bank fee: Rs. 25
Note: Fee submitted through Money Order, Cheque, Pay Order, IPO, or any other mode will be rejected. Online registration is mandatory immediately after fee payment at the bank.
