GSSSB Recruitment 2017: 802 Posts Available for Municipal Engineer, Librarian & Others
Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has announced a major recruitment drive for 802 positions across various departments. This recruitment offers opportunities for Municipal Engineer, Librarian, Livestock Inspector, Compounder, and Wireman positions.
Available Positions
- Wireman: 211 Posts
- Livestock Inspector: 400 Posts
- Compounder: 75 Posts
- Librarian: 23 Posts
- Municipal Engineer: 93 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age requirements to apply for these positions.
Educational Qualifications:
- Wireman: Minimum 2 years certificate course (Wireman/Electrician) from recognized Government ITI
- Livestock Inspector: 3 years Diploma in Veterinary science or animal husbandry. Minimum 1 year certificate course (Livestock Inspector) from recognized Government Institute or university
- Compounder: Graduate in Pharmacy (Ayurved) or Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurved)
- Librarian: Post Graduate in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55%. Must have passed National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test
- Municipal Engineer: Civil Engineer/Technology Graduate from recognized Government University or Institute
Age Limit:
18 to 33 years (as on 08/08/2017)
Application Fee:
Rs. 100/- + Rs. 12/- (Postal Charges)
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on written examination and interview.
