Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have either M.Sc in Environmental Science/Life Science/Disaster Mitigation, M.Tech/M.E in Environmental Engineering, or B.E. in Environmental Engineering/B.Sc in Environmental Science/Life Science from a Government recognized University/Institute. Both graduation and post-graduation in fields related to environment will be preferable.
- Applicants should have minimum 17 years of relevant Post Qualification experience for JGM or 15 years of relevant Post Qualification experience for Sr. DGM post.
- Candidate must have experience in preparation of Environment impact assessment, planning/implementation of Environment activities in large scale infrastructure projects like MRTS, irrigation, airports etc.
- Must have substantial work experience in Environment management at Site Level.
- Should have relevant national/international experience both in analysis and assessment of environment risks and impacts, preparation of EIAs and EMP.
- Should have preferably worked for at least 5 years in Metro Projects with reporting to MoEFCCC/funding agencies such as JICA, AdB, World Bank, JBIC & AFD.
- Experience in carrying out Audits, preparing of reports and liaising with funding agencies like JICA, AdB, World Bank, JBIC & AFD will be preferred.
- Demonstrated capacity to translate analytical work into advice and operational, implementable recommendations.
- Candidate should have passionate commitment towards Environment management; Deep understanding of environment management at Site Level.
Age limit
- 50 years for JGM, 45 years for Sr. DGM
