GIC Assistant Manager Notification 2024
General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) has invited candidates to submit the application forms for the position of Assistant Manager(Scale I Officer). Aspirants have to apply through the online registration system of GIC Re by visiting the official portal, www.gicre.in from 04 December to 19 December 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General: Graduation in any discipline
- Legal: Bachelor’s degree in law recognized by the Bar Council of India (LLM/Experience/Civil/Cyber)
- HR: Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduation in HRM/Personnel Management
- Engineering: Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Civil/Aeronautical/Marine/Mechanical/Electrical
- IT: B.E/B.Tech in computer science/information technology/Electronics & Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics & Communication
- Actuary: Graduation in any discipline. Candidates must have successfully cleared at least 7 papers from the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, London, with CS2 being a mandatory requirement.
- Insurance: Graduation in any discipline. Post Graduation Degree/Diploma in General Insurance/Risk Management/Life Insurance/FIII/FCII.
- Medical (MBBS): MBBS degree
- Finance: B.Com Degree.
Age Limit
- 21 to 30 years as on 01-11-2024
Application Fee
- The candidates have to pay non-refundable application fees online upon completion of registration and application. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PH candidates, Female candidates and employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies are exempted from the fees. Demand Draft/Money Order/Postal Order or any other mode of payment is not acceptable.

Selection Process
- The selection of the candidates for Assistant Manager (Scale I) posts will be based on the Online Test, the performance of the candidates in Group Discussions & interviews, and the medical examination. Minimum qualifying marks in the Online test shall be 60% for the General & OBC category and 50% for the SC/ST category. The total marks for the Online Test, Group Discussion, and Interview will be 200.

- Step 6: Now, click on the “Apply Online” link and login with the registration number and password.
