Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A degree in Ayurved from a university established by law or a statutory Board/Faculty/Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
- A Post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
- Ph.D. (Ayurved) in concerned subject.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) CATEGORY – III: Research and Academic Contribution mentioned in UGC Gazette Notification.
Age Limit
- Professor: Not more than 55 years
- Associate Professor: Not more than 50 years
- Assistant Professor: Not more than 45 years
Application Fee
- For Professor: Rs. 6000/- (for General/UR/OBC) & Rs. 5000/- (for SC/ST/EWS)
- For Associate Professor: Rs. 5000/- (for General/UR/OBC) & Rs. 4000/- (for SC/ST/EWS)
- For Assistant Professor: Rs. 4000/- (for General/UR/OBC) & Rs. 3000/- (for SC/ST/EWS)
- No application fee for PWD candidates.
- Application fee is to be paid by bank Demand draft (DD) of nationalized bank only
- Application fee is non-refundable, and payable by Demand Draft only for each application, drawn in favor of “Director, IPGT&RA” payable at Jamnagar.

- Applicants must apply in the prescribed format available at http://www.ayurveduniversity.edu.in as per the prescribed proforma of Application form. The Institute will not consider any other format or application proforma.
- Duly signed application completed in all respects, enclosing self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, cast/community/Persons with disabilities (PWD) in prescribed format by Government of India, the supporting documents along with non-refundable application fees should be sent in an envelope super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________________” by Registered/Speed-Post to the given address.
