Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: 1st Class Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/STs) from AICTE approved Colleges/Recognized Indian Universities in relevant discipline
- Age Limit: 25 years (as on 30/11/2017)
- Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General and OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST and PWD candidates
Stipend and Career Progression
Selected candidates will undergo one year training on consolidated stipend of Rs.38,430/- per month. After successful completion of training, they will be appointed as Engineer for three years with:
- 1st year: Rs.47,780/- p.m.
- 2nd year: Rs.49,210/- p.m.
- 3rd year: Rs.50,690/- p.m.
After contract completion, candidates will be absorbed as Technical Officer in scale of Rs.16,400-40,500/- with total emoluments of Rs.52,210/-. After one year service as Technical Officer, they will be considered for promotion to Senior Technical Officer in scale of Rs.20,600-46,500/-.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 1.5 hours duration, Objective Type
- Interview: For shortlisted candidates after CBT
CBT will be conducted in these cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Trivandrum, Warangal, Karimnagar, Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupathi, Nagpur, Tiruchy, Cochin, Jabalpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu and Belagavi.
Documents Required for Interview
- Online registered application form with photograph
- Original certificates for date of birth, qualification, caste and disability certificates
- Hall ticket/Admit Card attested by Invigilator
- Interview call letter (if any)
- No Objection Certificate (if working in PSUs/Govt.)
