Educational Qualification
For Sr. Accounts Officer:
- Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
- Five years’ experience in Executive cadre in the field of Finance, Accounting in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking
For Ex. Engineer (Civil):
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution
- Five years’ experience in Executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine Structure in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking
Age Limit
18 to 35 years
Application Fee
- All candidates other than PwD/DPT/Other Major Port Trust employees: Rs. 500/- (Application fee including intimation charges) + GST@18%
- PwD candidates/ DPT/Other Major Port Trust employees: Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges Only) + GST @18%
Note: Additional Bank transaction charges for online payment of intimation charges/fees is to be borne by the candidate. Fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held reserve for any other examination or selection.
Selection Process
Candidates have to appear for an online test as mentioned in Para III of the advertisement. Shortlisted candidates from the online test will be called for interview. The selection will be made on the basis of overall performance in Online Examination and Interview.
Online Examination Structure
- Post related technical questions: 50 Marks & 50 Questions
- Test of Reasoning: 15 Marks & 15 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude: 15 Marks & 15 Questions
- English Language: 10 Marks & 10 Questions
- General Awareness: 10 Marks & 10 Questions
- Total: 100 Marks & 100 Questions
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Medium of the online test: English
Note: DPT reserves the right to modify the structure of the online test, alter the minimum score required in each section, and restrict the number of candidates for shortlisting/Interview.
