The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for November 2017. This exam opens doors to two exciting opportunities: Assistant Professor positions and Junior Research Fellowship.

Exam Details

  • Post Name: National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) November 2017
  • Exam Date: November 5, 2017

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: You need at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in your Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities. For complete details, check the official notification.
  • Age Limit:
    • Junior Research Fellowship: Maximum 28 years as of November 1, 2017
    • Assistant Professor: No upper age limit
  • Application Fee:
    • General Category: Rs. 1000/-
    • OBC (Non-creamy layer): Rs. 500/- (as per Central list on www.ncbc.nic.in)
    • SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 250/-

Selection Process

Final selection will be based on a written examination.
