Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 20 to 25 Years (as on 01/08/2015)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Application Fee
Application Fee: Rs.200/- for General and OBC Category either by Offline Mode (depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore) (OR) by Online Mode (using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card). Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Procedure
- Written Examination
- Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks
- Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks
- Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests
- Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)
- 100 Meters race: In 16 seconds (Male), In 18 seconds (Female)
- 800 Meters race: In 3 minutes 45 seconds (Male), In 4 minutes 45 seconds (Female)
- Long Jump: 3.5 Meters (Male), 3.0 meters (Female) (3 chance both)
- Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 4.5 Meters
- Interview/Personality Test
- Final Selection/Merit
