Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed a full-time 4-year BE/B.Tech course from a reputed Institute/University in the following disciplines:
- Electronics
- Electronics & Communication
- Electrical & Telecommunication
For General, OBC, and EWS candidates: First Class required
For SC, ST, and PWD candidates: Pass Class required
Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage must be attached.
Post Qualification Experience
As of April 1, 2021, candidates should have minimum 6 months of post-qualification industry experience in areas including:
- Ethernet communication (10Mbps to 10Gpbs), LAN & WAN Concepts
- Ethernet Layers (TCP/IP), IPv4, IPv6
- Switching equipment like Routers, Switches, Hubs
- Ethernet & Optical Test Instruments
- TDM, PDH(E1-E4), SDH(STM-1 to STM-64) Communication
- Voltage regulators, Inverters, Batteries used in communication equipment
- EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 25 years as of April 1, 2021.
Application Fee
Rs. 200/- (Candidates belonging to PWD, SC, and ST categories are exempted from payment of application fee.)
Selection Process
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be evaluated as follows:
- Aggregate Marks in BE/B.Tech: 75%
- Relevant Post Qualification Experience: 10% (2.5 marks for minimum experience, 1.25 marks for every additional 6 months up to maximum 10 marks)
- Interview for shortlisted candidates: 15%
