Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has released an official notification for the Stenographer Grade-III and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Competitive Examination 2017. This recruitment drive aims to fill 173 positions across various departments.

Job Details

  • Total Posts: 173 posts
  • Stenographer Grade-III: 95 posts
  • Lower Division Clerk: 78 posts

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Stenographer Grade-III: Candidates must have passed Metric with 12th class or equivalent from a recognized State/Central Board. You’ll need to pass a dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. English test requires 50 minutes transcription on computer, while Hindi test requires 65 minutes.
    • Lower Division Clerk: Candidates must have passed Metric (10th) with 12th class or equivalent from a recognized Board. Typing speed should be 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on the closing date. Age relaxation available as per government rules.
  • Application Fee: Rs. 200 for UR/OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST/Divyang/Ex-Serviceman/Women candidates. You can apply for both posts with separate applications and prescribed fees through online payment.

Selection Process

Final selection will be based on a competitive examination.
