SSC to Announce New Exam Dates for CHSL, JE & Stenographer After May 3
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to announce new exam dates for CHSL, JE & Stenographer after May 3, following the completion of lockdown. The Commission held a special meeting on April 15, 2020 to review the situation arising from the Corona Virus pandemic.
With lockdown restrictions in place, including social distancing norms, the Commission decided that dates for all examinations requiring candidates to travel from across the country will be reviewed periodically. The affected exams include Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I) 2019, Junior Engineer (Paper-I) Examination 2019, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2019, and Skill Test for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2018.
A decision on fresh dates for these examinations will be taken after May 3, 2020, following the completion of the second phase of lockdown. The rescheduled dates will be notified on the Commission’s website and Regional/Sub-Regional Offices. The Annual Calendar of Examinations will also be reviewed regarding other examination schedules.
