GNFC is carrying out import of Raw Materials/Spares/Fertilizers( for trading) and export of Chemical Products. Our imports are about Rs 200 crore per annum and exports are Rs. 10 crore per annum. Over and above this, approximately Rs. 1125 crore worth raw materials are determined on the basis of import parity pricing. The company has availed External Commercial Borrowing(ECB) of Euro 32.50 Million and is also regularly borrowing in foreign currency under buyer’s credit facility of about Rs 150-200 crore. The company is also planning to invest in overseas companies.
For managing the above Foreign Currency exposures, the company needs a person who can frame and implement the foreign currency risk management policy and manage the foreign currency exposure of the company effectively. |
