GUJCOST Recruitment 2025: Apply for Project Scientist & Associate Posts
The Gujarat Council On Science and Technology (GUJCOST) has announced recruitment for Project Scientist and Project Associate positions in its Patent Information Cell for 2025. Three positions are available: one for Project Scientist II, one for Project Scientist I, and one for Project Associate I.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Age Limit
Project Scientist II:
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in management of Intellectual Property Rights
- Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights or Registered Patent Agent
- Age: Should not be more than 45 years till last date of Application
Project Scientist I:
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights or Registered Patent Agent
- Age: Should not be more than 40 years till last date of Application
Project Associate I:
- Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc, or Bachelor’s Degree on Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or Equivalent
- Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights
- Age: Should not be more than 35 years till last date of Application
Selection Process
The consolidated applications will be screened based on the academic score of the candidate at the relevant educational qualification level. The selection of candidates will be made based on personal interviews. Only selected candidates will be informed through offer letters via email.
How to Apply
Candidates must submit their filled-in applications in the prescribed format to the GUJCOST Office on or before 26th April 2025. Incomplete applications or those lacking supporting documents will be rejected. GUJCOST reserves the right to cancel or reject the recruitment for all or any of the posts without assigning any reason.
