Some newspapers in Gujarat have published news about cut off marks for GPSC Class 1-2 Preliminary Examination, 2014. This exam was held on October, 2014. As per newspaper clipping, probable cut off marks for General Category will be near about 197 marks out of 500.
Our Recommendation
Don’t trust any rumours or news about cut off marks, because no one (repeat, no one) can guess proper cut off marks for any competitive exams without proper data e.g. Number of students, difficulties of question papers, an average marks of some groups of students (including average and above average) etc… Actually this news is published by some coaching centres which are running in Rajkot city.
