Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
Candidates must be either:
- Indian citizens
- Subjects of Nepal
- Subjects of Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with permanent settlement intention
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with permanent settlement intention
Candidates from categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must have a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
Junior Personal Assistant:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with at least one year of Office Management and Secretarial Practice or equivalent
- Shorthand speed: 80 words per minute in English
- Typing speed: 40 words per minute in English
- Desirable: Proficiency in Hindi shorthand/typing
Junior Executive (Rajbhasha):
- Graduate with Hindi as elective and English as main subject from a recognized university OR equivalent degree/diploma to BA in Hindi
- Desirable: Proficiency in Hindi software applications
Age Limit
28 years as of November 15, 2025 (born between November 16, 1997, and November 15, 2007, inclusive)

- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman & Women: Rs. 500
