The recruitment drive includes two main posts:
- Sailor Entry
- Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates must have been born between 01 August 1994 to 31 July 1998.
Education Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. Optional subjects include Chemistry, Biology, or Computers.
Selection Process
The selection process evaluates candidates based on their merit order, considering performance in three stages:
- Written Test
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Medical Examinations
Written Test Details
The written examination will be objective type and cover four sections:
- English
- Science
- Mathematics
- General Knowledge
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates must complete the following physical tasks:
- 1.6 KM run to be completed in 7 minutes
- 20 squats (uthak baithek)
- 10 push-ups
Venue for Recruitment
The recruitment event will take place at Indian Naval Ship, Valsura, Jamangar – 361 150.
