HAL Announces 133 Technician Recruitment for 2015

HAL is hiring for 133 posts across different technician categories.
Available Posts and Qualifications
The recruitment covers multiple technician positions:
- Diploma Technician (Mechanical): 24 posts requiring a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology
- Technician Machinist: 14 posts requiring ITI + NAC/NCTVT (Machinist)
- Technician Grinder: 09 posts requiring ITI + NAC/NCTVT (Grinder)
- Technician Painter: 06 posts requiring ITI + NAC/NCTVT (Painter)
- Technician Turner: 06 posts requiring ITI + NAC/NCTVT (Turner)
- Technician Fitter: 38 posts requiring ITI + NAC/NCTVT (Fitter)
- Technician for Engine Division (Ex-Serviceman): 06 posts for Ex-Servicemen with Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Engine Trades
- Aircraft Technician for LCA Tejas Division (Ex-Serviceman): 30 posts with specific requirements for different trades
Age Limit
Candidates must be 28 years old as of October 1, 2015.
Application Fee
General and OBC category candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200/-. This fee should be deposited in the name of “HAL – RECRUITMENT ACCOUNT” with account number 31700415045 at any State Bank of India branch. The journal number from the bank must be entered in the online application form.
SC/ST/PWD candidates, Ex-apprentices sponsored by HAL, TTI Bangalore Complex, and candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange and Sainik Welfare Board are exempt from the application fee.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a written test followed by an interview. The written test will be conducted in Bangalore, and shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date and time via email or through the HAL website.

Interested candidates need to apply online at www.hal-india.com. After submitting the online application, you must:
- Take a printout of the acknowledgment form on A4 size paper
- Attach the HAL Challan form showing payment of the application fee
- Send the documents by speed post to the appropriate address based on the post you’re applying for
